Teddy goat breed is found in the districts, D.I.Khan, Tank, Sargodha, Mianwali, Gujarat, Jhelum and Rawalpindi and the adjoining areas of Azad Kashmir.
Teady goats are found in variable coat color, creamy, white, brown, and black or patched with these colors. They have a compact body small and droopy ears and nose is slightly prominent. This breed is both horned and polled. If horns are there, they are spirals. Bucks may have the beard. Hind quarters are most of the time are muscular. Udder is moderately and average developed with short conical teats. Milk yield is 65 liters per 130 day lactation. Hair of this breed is generally not clipped. Adult males and females have their weight 30 and 23 KG respectively. Twins and triplets occur most common at about 50 and 15 percent respectively. Teddy goats are most of the time raised for meat.
